  • Be introduced the concept of risk adjustment and understand what improving capture of critical risk adjusters can do for risk adjustment performance.
  • Learn to identify common Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) in risk adjustment.
  • Increase their understanding of interaction between HCCs and RAF scoring.
  • Participate in group exercises for how to identify, report in a compliant fashion, and query providers for common HCCs across the continuum.
