How do I access the virtual conference?
The AHIMA21 Virtual Conference will be hosted on the JUNO Live digital event platform. Registrants will receive a link to the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference no later than September 13, 2021. The username and password for the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference is the same as the username and password you use to log in to the AHIMA user site.
When is the final date to register for the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference?
You may register for the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference until September 21, 2021. On-Demand-only viewing will open on September 23, 2021. The same registration rates as the live conference will apply. If you opt for the On-Demand-only experience, the recorded sessions from the live virtual conference will be available on October 1 and accessible until November 6, 2021. You will receive CEUs for on-demand sessions viewed.
Is the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference educational content accessible after September 22?
Yes, the educational content will be available for on-demand viewing until November 6, 2021. All sessions that qualify for CEUs during the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference dates will qualify for CEUs during the on-demand period.
When will the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference Site open for attendees?
The AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site will open on September 14. Visit the site to choose sessions of interest, set up your profile, view a directory of attendees, and schedule appointments with exhibitors. You may also view On-Demand content before the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference officially begins. This content will be found in the On-Demand Essentials tab in the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site on JUNO Live. You will earn CEUs for viewing On-Demand educational sessions.
Is there a limit to the number of attendees that may attend a session?
There is no limit to the number of attendees for any session.
Yes, you may access any session that is of interest of you during its viewing time and date. If you want to change sessions, you may do so at any time. The JUNO Live site will track your movements and your attendance for CEU reporting.
Can I interact with speakers and attendees during the sessions?
Yes. The JUNO Live platform allows for attendee participation throughout each session. You may interact with fellow attendees via the text chat feature. Ask questions during the sessions in the text Q&A feature. Some sessions have a live Q&A period where speakers will take questions live via text Q&A and provide answers to the most popular questions. Also, if you like a session, let the speaker know by clicking on the emojis. Like emojis found in popular social media sites, show your agreement and participation level through the emojis built into each session.
Will my video be activated while viewing a session?
No, only speakers will be on video for educational sessions. You may, however, opt for viewing interactions with fellow conference attendees and exhibits via any appointments you schedule with these individuals.
The first time you log in to the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site, a link at the top of the home page will appear that asks you to complete your profile. Make sure to select your areas of interest. By setting up your profile you will align yourself with others who share the same interests—for example, perhaps finding others from the same geographic area or perhaps finding others aligned with your leadership skills.
How many CEUs may I earn for attending AHIMA21?
Up to 70 CEU credits can be earned for viewing sessions from the AHIMA21 conference. This number includes pre-conference content listed in the On-Demand area of the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site.
The total number of CEUs that you may earn is comprised of attendance at sessions during the dates of the meeting as well as any on-demand content you view that is posted in the On-Demand area of the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site.
The virtual event platform will keep an automated list of the sessions you attended. All you need to do is attend the sessions. The platform will automatically record your participation.
What are the different ways CEUs may be earned over the duration of the meeting?

Will a Schedule of Events be available on the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference event site?
Yes. A full schedule of events including of session dates, times, formats, titles, speakers, Impact Areas, Domains, and session descriptions are available on the site. Create your own event schedule based on sessions you choose. If you miss a session, don’t worry. All sessions will be available for on-demand viewing no later than October 1. All on-demand content will be available until November 6. All on-demand sessions are eligible for the same amount of CEUs as during the live event dates.
What are the virtual exhibit hall hours?
The virtual exhibit hall is open throughout the duration of the live event. The exhibit hall opens and closes each day at the same time as the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference.
What will I find in the exhibit hall?
Companies aligned with HIM and HIT professionals’ product and service needs greet you in the exhibits area. Each exhibit booth is staffed with knowledgeable representatives ready to answer questions and discuss how their products and services can help you and your enterprise achieve your goals. Visit the booth to set up an appointment to speak with exhibitors who best suit your professional needs. This is a great opportunity to build your supplier and services network as well as learn about what is new in the marketplace to better serve your professional needs.

Is there gamification or a leaderboard on the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference site?
Yes, gamification is built into the site and captured through the Leaderboard. The AHIMA21 Virtual Conference is hosted on a gamified platform that allows you to earn points for participating in activities throughout the site. Several contests are based on who has the most points, so use the Leaderboard to see where you stack up against other attendees.
To see the Leaderboard, click the lightning bolt in the upper right-hand corner. The number next to the lightning bolt are your points!
Participate, participate, participate! There are a lot of ways to earn points on the EVENT platform. Simple actions get you points automatically.
You can earn points in the following ways:
Each action above earns leaderboard points, and each can only be earned once per session, poll, question, etc. Points will be compiled throughout the conference. The highest point earners win prizes. Winners will be announced via a post-meeting email after the meeting concludes. Be sure to participate in as much of the program as possible to earn points.
What are the system requirements for the platform?
You can access your event on a PC running Windows 7+ or Mac running macOS 10.12+ through Chrome or Safari. You can also access via Android tablets and phones using Chrome and iPhones and iPads using Safari. For the best experience, we recommend joining on a computer through Chrome.
You should also check your connection speed prior to joining the meeting. You will need a minimum of 0.6 Mbps download speed, but we recommend at least 1 Mbps for streaming. For video calls, we recommend 2.5 Mbps download speed.
