The goal of this presentation is to have the audience look at our profession through a different lens, understanding how the current pandemic is going to greatly alter the trajectory of HIM in this new decade and beyond so they can begin to think about and plan for these changes. For example, the coming onslaught of artificial intelligent coding software programs is going to be a massive disruptor for HIM. Understanding this technology and planning today for its arrival both in the HIM field and at individual organizations is paramount.
