The latest episode of the AHIMA Hi-Pitch Podcast features Daniel Kraft, MD. Dr. Kraft will be the mainstage speaker at the AHIMA21 Virtual Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 21. 

In the interview, Dr. Kraft previews his keynote session and explores exciting technology trends in consumer wearables, artificial intelligence, health literacy, and how information technology has helped and hindered the COVID-19 pandemic response. 

Dr. Kraft is a Stanford- and Harvard-trained physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and innovator, with more than 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research, and healthcare innovation. 

He is the chair of the XPRIZE Pandemic Alliance Task Force, serves as faculty chair for Medicine at Singularity University, and is founder and chair of Exponential Medicine, a program that explores convergent, rapidly developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare. He is also the founder, co-founder or advisor on a number of leading-edge healthcare startups. 

Dr. Kraft’s keynote address will focus on the transformative power of healthcare information and information technology.
